Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

RATED AS 5+ STAR PROPERTY: As a Florida lover, I have stayed at many different places before; however, this place has impressed me the most due to its very high quality including the cleanliness and comfort of my room, the coziness and well-maintained look of the whole property, and very kind and hospitable hosts. Therefore, this is going to be “TO GO” destination in Pompano Beach from now on and I do recommend it 110%!

An amazing place you want to return to again and again! We were absolutely thrilled with our stay! The house is incredibly clean, cozy, and comfortable. You can immediately tell it has high-quality renovations—everything is done with great taste, in a sleek European style, and with excellent materials. We were amazed by how well-stocked the house was; every little detail is truly thought out. The kitchen has an enormous variety of cookware for any occasion. There is a great heated pool and a fully equipped grill with all the necessary tools. The golden rule of this place: even if you travel light with literally nothing, you will find absolutely everything inside for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect—the beach is very close, literally a couple of minutes' walk away. Special thanks to the hosts—incredibly pleasant, helpful, and welcoming people who were so easy and wonderful to communicate with. We had a wonderful time here and are already planning to stay here again on our next trip! Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a great stay here while visiting family. It was very convenient to have a little apartment to ourselves while in town. I loved the virtual check in and super affordable pet fee. The walk to the beach is very quick. We love the rental bike and golf cart rental options available on location and hope to take advantage next time. We will absolutely make this location a regular stay when visiting!

This property is truly a gem! After unexpected surgery during a trip to South Florida, we had to find a place to stay for a week of recuperation on very short notice. We could not have made a better choice than Bahama Beach Club! The newish owners, Sandra and Mirko, have done an incredible job with upgrades. The rooms combine the very best of Old Florida charm with modern EU efficiency. The grounds are perfectly maintained. The location can't be beat - it's on a quiet residential block, but within easy walking distance to the commerical center of Pompano Beach. Sandra was the perfect host, available whenever we had a question. Without question, this will be our preferred home away from home anytime business or vacation takes us back to South Florida.
